MJM Sports & Joma to Sponsor New Forest Futsal League

The UK Futsal Association have announced a pioneering partnership with MJM Sports and Joma Sports, who are to be the official Sponsor of the New Forest and District Futsal League (in partnership with Hampshire FA), which is supporting grass roots Futsal in Hampshire.

MJM Sports will be providing all the cups and medals for the various age groups, Joma kit will also be provided at reduced cost for all the teams. An online kit shop will be available – which will help fund UK Futsal - at and links to .

In fact MJM Sports are committed to all other Junior leagues who decide to join the Futsal program and the same sponsorship package would apply to them, making for a very attractive proposition.

Futsal originated in Brazil & Uruguay in the 40s, while similar to soccer, the ball and rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces – none other than Ronaldinho says that a lot of the his moves originate from when he played Futsal!

Futsal is being encouraged in the UK – with the belief by the FA that it will bring a dramatic increase in the skill level of UK association football players – hence increasing the chances of international success for the home nations.
